Gave some exams near the Campus Library and got this treat 🙂 Green and Pink, my favorite colors! I just love the beauty of the flowering season. And here in China, it’ll last until well into the fall!
wow, super cool. Are you still there? I live and teach in the south. Guangzhou.
Yeah, three years now! But I think this is my last semester here. Not sure where next. Maybe Japan, Korea, or a larger Chinese city
Thats a long time. The future sounds exciting.
you liking Guangzhou? It’s a good city I’ve heard.
Yes! Guangzhou is really great. A big city with SO much going on. Great Cantonese culture, lots to see and do. There is a big expat community here if you like that, and also easy to get to Hong Kong. It’s close to Guilin too. So yes GZ is pretty cool and I would recommend it.
Awesome! Yeah, where I live lacks much culture, which is why I”m looking at moving. But Henan does have beautiful flower festivals and history in Kaifeng and Luoyang (two of the old Chinese capitals) in the fall. The festivals are beautiful and you get a glimpse of the more “rural” culture in China as opposed to the big city vibes. That can be nice.
That sounds magical to see! Ah china has so much to view and see!
Where are you in China in this post? 🙂
Central China – the middle of it all 😜
