Old, big trees are always breath-taking π³π
The Ocean has its silent caves,
Deep, quiet, and alone;
Though there be fury on the waves,
Beneath them there is none.
The awful spirits of the deep
Hold their communion there;
And there are those for whom we weep,
The young, the bright, the fair.
Calmly the wearied seamen rest
Beneath their own blue sea.
The ocean solitudes are blest,
For there is purity.
The earth has guilt, the earth has care,
Unquiet are its graves;
But peaceful sleep is ever there,
Beneath the dark blue waves.
‘The Ocean’ by Nathaniel Hawthorne

Stepped into a storybook scene along the trail of #Jeju southern coastline. πππ Sitting together & watching the waves crash, the sand blow in hypnotizing patterns, the gulls swoop in for a landing . . . . it was absolutely breath-taking and soothing

Finally got to see the cherry blossom of Japan – bucket list wish accomplished!

‘By the river I went walking
When my troubles came to mind.
But I did not stop for them
And they could not catch up to me.’
This is the breath-taking park at #Arashiyama in #Kyoto Japan. My friends went to find the #monkey πππpark at the top of the mountain, but I’m not a HUGE fan of monkeys up close – and – personal. So I just walked along the river. This day is one of my most precious memories. The atmosphere just soothes your soul β€οΈ.
