Oh to be as comfortable as ‘Spot the Cat’ 🥰 Snoozing all nestled up comfy as could be. He hasn’t moved since we came a couple hours ago 😴
We’re crafting Christmas Gnomes as a family Thanksgiving project. We finished the demo / sample pattern. I think he’s gonna be cute 😍
My aunts, mom, and I often enjoy family crafting projects. Sometimes we sell them at a local church fundraiser, but often we just make enough for each family to take home. I grew up making angels, reindeer, santas, and ornaments. Listening to them talk and chatter around me.
My uncles often join in as well, proving the heavier labor and helping engineer and create the parts and materials.
These are precious memories and remind me how Thankful I am for my extended family ❤️
We’ll fill the jar with cookies and treats for The holiday!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Has spring visited you this week? Take time to smell the flowers!
It has come to my attention that at the end of quarantine, I will have had rice-based meals for lunch & dinner for 29 days with one notable noodle exception. 😂 🍚 That means 57 meals with rice in a row – I may or may not turn into a rice ball myself by the end 😂 😂
Chicken Hearts? 🤔 Haven’t had this dish before 😂 On my third week of mandatory quarantine in China! I’ll be free by April 1!
It’s been a while since we had the opportunity to travel given everything that has been going on – so here is a throw-back to better times and more open borders. This was a young student of China’s Wushu style fighting participating in a festival for the Henan Cultural Tourism festival in 2017. They put on a wonderful performance!
I could use a bit of spring – and some inspiration for my dissertation 🗺️ Or to run away from home, either way.
