An Ancient Spring

Spring is beginning at the ancient Yuyuan Gardens in Shanghai. This lovely flower is growing atop some of the old roof tiles of the garden.

Visited the Shanghai Wild Animal Part on the third coldest day ever recorded this winter. All the poor animals were freezing (so was I!), so they stayed huddled up to keep warm.  These adorable raccoons appreciated the power of snuggles on a day like that!

0_0 Scary Marble Mountain Slide

Climb Liaojieling Mountain in Henan, and you get the opportunity to check out this sweet marble slide!  It goes about 3 city blocks down and immediately dead ends on a 2ft platform leading to a major 20 ft+ drop off. The only thing between you and the fall is a unreliable large net.  FUN!  😛  It was tons of fun actually, pretty awesome!
