Celebrations abound! Festive palm tree in Taipei
The eastern end of Yeongjong-do Island in #Inchon, #southkorea.
The ICN airport is on one end, and this park & #fishmarket is at the other. We’re staying at the Royal Emporium hotel tonight. My school booked a cheap hotel for us, which happened to be a brand new, beautiful place right on the #waterfront. One hour Ride on bus 203 from the airport. No foreigners, and lots of yummy cafes, Fish shops, Beer & chicken stops, etc. So much fresh Flounder, Lobsters, Shrimp, and crabs! The crowd is great & atmosphere is upbeat. You can also take the ferry to Wolmido from here!
Say ‘hello’ to Brynn the bright #Peacock from the #Changchun #WildAnimal Park in #China. They let us feed them from our hands. Such brilliant colors!
#Cheonggyecheon Stream in the center of #Seoul. The area used to be an abandoned road that was filled with trash and yuck. The city cleaned it up, ran a stream through it, and turned it into a walking park with clean water to wade in and bridges to play under. The area is full of families and dating couples on summer evenings!
Wanna climb the pagoda? 😊 The beautiful sight greeted me on the way to classes. It’s a lovely pagoda up on the hill and part of a park in the middle of our campus. I love all the #colors!
**Just don’t go up there at night. 😂 It’s pretty much destined to live as a kind of ‘kissing kastle’ sort of place at night. When all the students have 7 other kids in their rooms, couples find privacy here 😜
