Happy Meetings, Bittersweet Separations

My students returned to school today for graduation photos.  They do not take classes their final semester, so most already have jobs, internships, etc.  Some are already leaving for grad school!  I’ve known them for 3 years – love them so much!

In our university, students don’t pick their classes.  Everyone in their class takes the same 10-11 classes together each semester.  Then they share a dorm.  So all 60 students in her class (Finance 1, 2013) have been together pretty much 24 hr a day for 4 years.  Making great memories, but sad goodbyes.

Dance-Off Party!

These are my amazing students! As part of our Business Negotiations class, I asked them to prepare a group dance. They had to work together and we voted on who had the best dance. There were some GREAT ideas here, and I was really proud of them. Make sure you watch the last dance!

Jumping Jacks (Wushu-Style)

Look carefully, and you’ll see the Chinese lanterns in the background – I thought this was a cool photo. These are performing Chinese students of Wushu from the Shaolin Temple during the biennial Wushu Festival.

I like numbers 16, 24, and 30. Secret wings, questionable food, and fried son. Sounds delicious!
