#LastDay at Hammond Hall (Building 15) here in my university in #Zhengzhou #China. Taught here for 3 years – 8am Monday my first semester to 10am Monday my last semester 😭❤ I’ve had so many beautiful, kind, wonderful #students here and made the best kind of #memories.
This summer, I intend to move to a new #province and a new university. 😃 Sadness today, but great excitement for the future!
😂 Travel #Miscommunication – I asked a local importer if he could help me find #BBQ sauce, knowing that #HuntsBBQ is in a lot of places here. He said ‘Sure!’ A couple days later, they told me my sauce was in and I came to find this – #KoreanBBQ sauce 😜 Also delicious! Just not what I was thinking. One of the fun parts of travel – We have different views of food vocabulary 😄
My students returned to school today for graduation photos. They do not take classes their final semester, so most already have jobs, internships, etc. Some are already leaving for grad school! I’ve known them for 3 years – love them so much!
In our university, students don’t pick their classes. Everyone in their class takes the same 10-11 classes together each semester. Then they share a dorm. So all 60 students in her class (Finance 1, 2013) have been together pretty much 24 hr a day for 4 years. Making great memories, but sad goodbyes.
