What’s Missing?

πŸ˜ƒDid you know 4 is an unlucky number in many Asian countries – especially those with #linguistic influence from #China. This is because 4 has a similar pronunciation as the word ‘death’.

You can see this #hotel in South Korea skipped putting in a 4th floor! πŸ˜….

#Suzhou Pan Pacific Hotel

Wwwwoah! πŸ™‚πŸ™ƒThe #hotel πŸ›Œ is so nice! Concierge, private entrance to the city protected #garden, indoor & outdoor #pool, #breakfast on the patio – everything in classical style #Chinese #architecture. I’m officially lost – I don’t think I remember the way to the hotel entrance we took so many twists in here. Balinisian massage – multiple restaurants, opera and tea shows! Wow! I picked it cause it was closer to the subway πŸ˜‚πŸ˜œ Lucky me!

Oh good, Alien 2pac made it

Hmmm. These guys are strange. But it was nice of alien #2pac to stop by. Wonder if he is a popular rapper on three-eyed planet. . . . or is alien 2pac actually a boy-band crooner instead . . . . The questions this little guy raises.

Gongyi Grotto

#Gongyi #Grottos – one if 4 Famous grottos in #China.  These are places where loyal #monks have carefully carved out thousand and millions of #buddhas and religious #statues into the walls of nearby #caves over CENTURIES!  Unfortunately, many of the ones in Henan were destroyed during the #CulturalRevolution or were defaced by the Western militaries During the wars with #China.  Still an amazing, awe-inspiring sight! Well worth the trip! Thanks to the Henan Provincial Tourism Bureau for sponsoring our trip today – it was lovely!
