The mystery flours! Fun for any #baker!

LOL! My student & I attempting to figure out which of 5,000 available flours I needed for baking. 😜 Is it a #dumpling flour or a #wheat flour or an #all-purpose flour? The Fish kind or the wheat stick kind? The life I live. . . . . . I Love it so much – even going to the grocery is an adventure!

Legit #Korean Food 

#koreanfood done right!  Seoul Train Station has a restaurant on 4th floor called ‘Korean Restaurant’ (inventive huh?! 😂).  It is SO GOOD!  #motherdearest ordered the #galbi stew and I ordered #Bulgogi.  All the side dishes came with.  Garlic, Leaf wraps, Kimchi, Radish, Soy Soup, etc.  #Yummy

😂  Nice that #America gets the knife, fork, spoon 🍴 on our art at the Zhengzhou #airport (To be fair – so did #Italy and #France).  None of this #chopstick thing for us! No sir!
btw – chopsticks + glass rice noodles = IMPOSSIBLE! 🍜

#Strawberry ‘Betterfiles’

Tastes #Divine!  Small restaurant in the new CityOn Mall in #Zhengzhou called “Strawberry Forever”  —  all the deserts are strawberry! 🍓 

Zhengzhou is really growing recently – the #Mall is HUGE and has #Forever21 #Zara #sephora and more.  So nice and lovely!

Beautiful, Peaceful #cafe in the heart of #Beijing! 

Had to visit the US Embassy (a mess – the guards don’t speak English and sent me through the mile long Chinese line getting VISAs.  The head guy found out and came to get me 😜 Soaking Wet!💦Gave them my appoinment sheet and it crumbled😂  Anyway, now just waiting before I brave the 1hr subway to the #train.  

Stopped at Baker & Spice here at Liangmaqiao station.  The #food is delicious!  So many choices and #bread loaves!  Got my mom a Walnut Bread and me a#Chocolate #cupcake.  The cupcake top inside was a surprise – completely filled with chocolate mousse!!!  So delicious!!! 🍴

Go to Liangmaqiao Station, Exit B.It’s right there.

Stewed Iron Eggs – everypne’s favorite food! It even comes #SPICED! As my ESL students say – ‘have a try!’


Notice the star #anise on the picture (tastes like licorice – often poisonous here in #China since the legit anise stars go to theraflu factories).  Can only imagine that added to stewed egg flavor!
