The mystery flours! Fun for any #baker!

LOL! My student & I attempting to figure out which of 5,000 available flours I needed for baking. π Is it a #dumpling flour or a #wheat flour or an #all-purpose flour? The Fish kind or the wheat stick kind? The life I live. . . . . . I Love it so much – even going to the grocery is an adventure!

Went to #KFC and Michael tried this new #chicken ‘burger’ they are selling. The bread is just Food coloring. The stuff that looks like hair on top we THINK is fried pulled chicken? – He said it just tasted weird π Unfortunately, they put the Mayo on TOP of the bun to hold on the fried stuff, so eating it was hilarious. ππππ Yum!

Using #Didi for 1st time!
SUCCESS! I finally tried using #Didi for the first time this week! In the US, we have #uber but China has a program called #Didi as their alternative. π
I really enjoyed it actually! You put in your pick-up spot and destination. It finds a driver and tells you how long till they arrive, a map tracking their car coming to you, their license plate #, and a car description (i.e. black Toyota). They pick you up, take you to the destination, trigger the receipt – it is automatically paid for via #alipay or #wechat and you rate their service.
By the grace of God they Actually now have an #English versionof the app which lets you type the names of places in English or #Pinyin. Super convenient!!
I do so love #tech advancements π
