First Scooter Ride

Took my first ever motor Scooter ride today!  Drove about 3 hours out and about. Saw lots of cool things, Including this vegetable garden in front of the public toilet 😂

Ice Cream Coffee

Iced Coffee #China style!  Here in Henan, most restaurants don’t have ice.  The Chinese don’t really like iced drinks – believing the cold unboiled water will make them sick and is a bad combination with your inside organs. (Probably true of the water here.) 

But Ice Cream is a different story.  Still bad for your health but not so likely to kill you.  So if you Order iced coffee or an iced soda You’ll get Ice cream coffee or a ice cream float 😄

Ooh. . . . Seaweed Chips!  😂 The perfect junk food.  They have the weirdest Types of chips here – no BBQ or Chedder Sour Cream.  Nope, It’s Seaweed, Green Tea, Squid, Roasted Lamb, Hot Pot, and Yoghurt

#Rose Tea – The #Herbs of China

However despite my mistaken belief that they loved #EnglishTea , I have since learned that the actually prefer #herbal teas.  This box for sal at the local supermarket is full of #roses for #rosetea. They also like #lavender tea, #chamomile, #jasmine, and others.  Makes the #cafe very fragrant!

Hooray!! #Spring has Sprung! #China is Starting to prepare for sunny days and warm weather! They are Starting to get out their totally Awesome kites!!  Nobody does kites like China – they are HUGE and in really awesome shapes – saw a long Dragon one time.  Can’t wait to dee them out flying about!

Haha! 😂 I Love my #huawei Chinese phone. It has the best #English descriptions for things sometimes. Apparently our #Weather is ‘dreary and very unhealthy’ – you know, life just sucks sometimes 😜 I just got a Warning from the phone for Tuesday when it’ll get down to 21degrees!!! – so cold they asked me to check my ‘mouth muffler, ear mufflers, and gloves. 😂 It’s like Having a second mom. 😝

Life in #China – Singing at #KTV is Awesome :)

I ❤ KTV and #music!! It’s the Chinese name for #Karaoke .  My students and I like to Visit this one because It’s cheaper during the day.  Usually in China, you can go during the day for a lot less than at night. Sometimes you can get a free room as long as you buy a certain amount of snacks 😄 It’s a great way for the students to practice their #esl 😃 This one just updated their pictures outside!
