Totally awesome haunted house tonight. So proud of my juniors! All by themselves, they planned and put the party on. The 3rd and fourth floors had been transformed. Piles of leaves all through the halls and rooms, scattered chair overturned for the ‘abandoned effect’! The classrooms were amazing – evil butcher room with the creepy guy chopping bloody stuff; creepy dead bride in her red wedding dress, ghosts everywhere including up in the window ledges – they’d jump from the ceiling to scare people. 😱👻 People hiding under tables or in fabric screens would grab your feet 😂 I loved it! Such a great job!
Happy St. Patricj’s day from #china! Starting off well! One if the #students was asking a friend to translate what I was teaching them about the holiday. He calledme ‘Beauty Teacher’. 👸 MADE MY DAY! ❤ I obviously got some #goodluck somewhere today! 🍀
Happy Spring Festival to any Chinese viewers! Today is the first day of the Year of the Rooster. Wishing you money in your purses, love in your hearts, family in your homes, luck in your future, and wisdom in your minds
Great Christmas Eve! 🎅 Went to breakfast and shopping with mom. Saw totally cute gift ideas!! 😊 Then my friend Harry came by and we made peanut butter and ritz cookies, had delicious dinner, walked the river looking at the lights, saw the fireworks, etc. ❄ Even saw an electrical fire! 😱 Then the lovely cafe owner’s wife gave me a cupcake for Christmas 😍 Even though China doesn’t really celebrate Christmas, lots of locals stopped to wish me Merry Christmas. Then woke up this morning to awesome gifts, delicious breakfast treats from a friend, and a spa day. Tonight I party with some friends here at the foreign housing. A real wonderful life!
My Student Serena made me this wreath – isn’t it adorable?!
This is Walmart during Black Friday – the next line is full – please go clear to the next paragraph 😜 (Sign posted at our resident Waka – the Chinese Walmart)
Bad News: no electricity from 8-8 so no meals provided. Which is against my contract but they don’t care. —_—
Good News: I am surrounded by amazing friends, family, and students who I love so much and who love me in reyurn. And these lovely roses were only $1 each 😁 What a blessing!
