#Christmas is here with trees and Christmas Light #balloons !!!!
They make the ballooons by taping lights on the outside. They are so beautiful and awesome!!
Say hi to Furro the #Burro! 😊 This cute donkey was selling melons on the #street. (In a university park, in a city with millions of people – a #random donkey. I love #lifeinChina ❤)
And who could say no to that adorable guy? So sweet!!

America is my country, but #Seoul is my hometown. There is something so soothing to me about this city, with the topsy-turvy combination of new & sleek contrasted with old & meandering. The moment I see my river begin to rise in the bus windows, my soul relaxes and I know it’s all ok. To stand, looking out over a city as old as time. Knowing that for centuries, one nation after another (often repeatedly) tried to stamp out its #culture and #Heritage only for Seoul to stay standing. It’s a Beautiful feeling – Here for 14 days!

Chinese historical sites (and some city buildings) here in Henan have a tendency to have these sharp warnings NOT to climb the walls. Given how much looting and destruction they’ve faced with their heritage in the past, it is a pointed (pun intended) reminder that history is to be protected, not stolen or broken. Also – avoid the Baiju (China’s alcoholic beverage which is as much as 70% alcohol). Getting drunk on that and stupidly climbing the fence is a REALLY BAD idea here!
